We have now the pleasure of delivering
the 100 Reams of Paper asordered by you being double thin
of your sample or 19 2 Suches by 29 Inches zweighingt
to the ream or equal to Us to the ream had it been the sizest

-nications which have passed between us, that the Papery
wanted for an object similar to that of the Penny Postage in the
Country, and as we are intrusted by Government with the p
paration of all the Adhesive Samps weperfectly understand

necessary, not only on Account of the very great size of the cheet
which is expernely difficult to make of such avery thin texture but
because after many repeated experiments we found that a thumer
paper would shew the gum through and thus deface the impression
We have alle found the greatest difficulty in highly rolling so large thin
alper & as we have doubts whether for the purpose required this rolling
is necepary we have sent 50 Reams highly rolled & 50, not very highly rolls
as the high rolling adds 3/- per ream to the price. After much reflection

The Gum we use is composed of mine tenths of stator
Starch well built and one Tenth of Gum Trabic boite

& dried in the air, as fire will cockle the sheets.
The Ink should be in the following proportion. vir
