Dear Sir.
We beg to thank
you for your favor of the 1st
instt containing order for
Notes, which shall have our
Careful attention. With
reference to the date of the
Notes we cannot very well
insert the date in the original
steel plate, as it is an awkward
position for alterations. But
we could stamp the date
as shown by specimen herewith,
at a cost of 3/- per thousand,
and think you would find
this satisfactory.
