Having now had time thoroughly to
examine the two 10€ notes left with us
we have ne
by you yesterda
difficulty in confirming what amild. Ken
then said, vis" that the two notes were never issued int
the same numbers: Eve entertain some doubts whether
the toru note had a 3 in it, but we are positive that
it never had a
ag, and
therefore if the 3 is correctt-it
was issued as tot 302 and not 392. We enclove you
no 392 and no 302 puuited upon a plaire peies of
paper by which
you
will see that the top of the qui
quite round but that
of
the 0 is oval.

thickness of the tops, differ in the two figures,

good magnifies shews that in both these particular
the note agrees with the figured

not be done were it orignially a 9, but without
