that we have made no mistake in our

charge £25 each as this work had to be engraved solely for you

I is useless for any other purpose whereas the stump lesser dies with
the English words one pound, five pounds, & ten pounds,
upon them can be used for any number of Banks whatever.
And the writer told you when the small writing was ordered
that it would ni crease the expense again we had to order
and pay for 2 new drawings of Vignettes nove juhist
would have been wanted for similar plates to the specimen
And we also had to send triplicate Drawings of the 10 Mocke
Notes when in other cases au- origuial only is required.
Having the dies now made we should have no objiction to
prepare additional plates for £31.10. £42.3652.10.0
but those already made are only charged as they ought
to be . We trust you will thus now see the reasonablenessas
well as correcti

for inspection & Plates such as those sent would have been
from £15.15.0. to £52.10.0 on Steel. The Bank did not
in any instance select ampthing like the simplest

£42.0.08 £52.10.0 but they ordered Stump writing to
all the notes, & in Portuguese this being a thing which could
