Licences from the Name Office after being paid
for yearly
6 months, and they desire ustosay
that t. Charles Prideaux & given in the reques
is
for Licences as residing at Plymouth, while in
the Bond tothic Stamp Office he is said to blous
Boneco
to Devonport, and if he lives at Olymouth hig
say there, must be a New Bond geven, we told
Then that the two places
were the Same Devonte
being the modern name
for part of Nymanth
but this did not satisfy them.

we have taken impressions from the three 20t
Nose plates of the Clydesdale Bank & Co which we
have the honor of sending here with .
until it is
All the Plates are worn but not equally so that with.
the letter t is all bad, but the body of letter C
is in the best order and the scroll of letter Duve
think either of the two last might be repaired at a trifting
expense so as to take 3 or 4000 impressions unt
known what the Government intend doing as to
the Circulation of the County. We have also returned
the 3 Plates with impressions from each, and a dry one
from letter E. Our Charges if favour'd with the work
would be for drawing Vengraving 2 Notes similas
in quantity
but superior in quality to the present
Nose either united upon one Steel, or upon two seperate,
Steet Rates-Heventy Guineas each complete. or
we would harden them if wanted taking the risk
of breaking for Seventy five guineas each - but the
hardued Plates would certainly lake double or
bably three times as many as the others. Our Chan
for Paper when wanted is leventy shillings per thousand
(not ream) Notes of the very best quality I for Pruiting
Twenty shillings per thousand. We have endeavoured to
make a sketch of a new nose not copying
much departing from the old Note but the tume
has been so short that we had to use the Arcus of the
Glasgow as we now have them & the Scroll on the
left is
time to prepare it. We are Sir very respectfully
